Hi
Dear Eskay
1) From a Gavelier....
Heart felt thanks to your competent team for grooming me:
I came all the way form Perth in Y2002 & bumped into S/M TMC in May 2003 when they organised a preview on "Public Speaking" at RSVP.
Out of curiousity I attended.
Huh! they were so enthusiatic & convicing that I was so moved along with the large crowd to raise up my hand to join & later in June 2003 "conned" into the 1st RSVP Gavel Club Exco as VPM till date -my 2nd term. Being "conned is not bad at all.
I have learnt a lot esp the lesson of "patience"
Thanks to the 2 big guys who spear-headed RSVP Gavel Club:ATMS/CL Albert Lim and Yeo Chai Tun
2) No Regrets..
I had visited S/M TMC in Sept 2003 my 1st and not realising it was their last at
S/M
building and will move to TPCTMC in Nov 2003
That night I felt the warmth of fellowship of your team and the pleasant
learning
environment. I also experienced they accorded applause to all irrespective of
background The building/venue is not important
Most important the Toastmasters are the same motivating & inpriing
people
I will consider visitnig your new home in the coming months
3) The Web
Congratulations for the beautiful/informative "Site" "Let Us Hold On To-gather" Yes, RSVP Gavel Club will always be a part of you
4) I'll be returning to Perth soon.
I cherish those lovely memories and "Speech projects " I have learnt and
done
and share with my Fy & friends down under
The best of the best Y2005 to TPCTMC
