Shu Konno

Shu Konno is our 1^st foreign addition and a rare gem! English is not his mother tongue and he told us that he joined Toastmasters to improve his English. Interestingly, our mother tongue is also not English! So you see, we are all here to help each other be the best we can be!

We hope to have more foreign members to add "flavour" to our club. We want to be more multi-cultural and multi-national. We want to hear more of their views.

He has been with us for three months and has already completed two speech projects. Kudos to his commitment! Hooray Shu! Keep it up!

Hsarmih is one of the club's newest member in the year starting June 2010. She used to work in the service industry, but speaking in front of a crowd has been a challenge for her. She hopes that through doing her toastmasters project, she will be able to speak confidently in front of the crowd to present a professional image.
